Everyone,

It is that time of the year again to start registering for Flag and Tackle football. Registration is closed for the 2025 Season.

 

Flag league will be hosted by Papillion again this year. All games are played at Papillion Landing, Spirit Field, La Vista Sports Complex or American Hero's Park (Bellevue) on Saturdays. Games should Fall between 8am - 3pm.

Registration Fee: $90.00

  • Includes League Fee's and T-shirts
  • Parents are to provide properly fitted mouth pieces.

Team Divisions:

  • Kindergarten, 1st/2nd grade, and depending on demand 3/4th & 5/6th grade. In the instance there are not enough kids registered for either level there will be conversation of combining grades. In that instance lower grade levels will need to play up not down.

There is one game per week and typically coaches only schedule one to two practices a week. If you want to coach or assist please make note during your child's registration. 

The season runs from the beginning of August to the beginning of October (exact dates TBD)

Tackle football plays in the Cass County Football league (Louisville, Palmyra, Elmwood Murdock, Weeping Water). All games are held on Sundays typically on the High School field of the towns we are playing (usually we have about 3 home games).

Registration Fee: $110.00

  • Includes League fees (fields, referees, pads, equipment, etc.)
  • Parents provide Helmets and Jerseys. Jerseys will be purchased at equipment checkout if your child does not have one from previous years. Helmets are mandatory by 3rd practice.

Teams:

  • 3rd/4th
  • 5th/6th

There is one game a week and typically coaches schedule 2 practices a week (all practices to be held on the Platteview High School practice fields). If you want to coach or assist please make note during your child's registration. 

The season runs from August to the end of October (exact dates TBD)

Once registration is complete we will have a parent/coaches meeting to discuss equipment fittings, safety, concession volunteers, etc.

Coaching Requirements

All coaches will need to be approved and registered as a coach with SYAA. Also a  completed background check will need to be on file prior to 1st practice.
