PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Goal:

To provide a positive, high-energy environment where young athletes can master basketball fundamentals, build character, and develop a strong competitive spirit – all while preparing to become future Trojans.

Grades:

1st through 8th Grades

Registration:

• Opens in August and closes in mid-October

PROGRAM DETAILS

1st / 2nd Grades:

• Teams will play through the Sarpy County YMCA on combined 1st/2nd Grade teams for the Winter session

• Practices typically begin around Thanksgiving and are held in one of the Platteview school district schools

3rd – 8th Grades:

• Teams can play in the CBL league, local tournaments or a combination of both - Scheduled at the coaches discretion

• Practices will begin in late October and may continue into March (1 to 2 practices per week)

COACHING

We value and appreciate our volunteer coaches – they’re a vital part of our program. If you have a passion for basketball and a desire to make a positive impact, we’d love to give you the opportunity to coach. Whether you’re experienced or just eager to get involved, we welcome all who are committed to helping our athletes grow on and off the court.
